Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our dynamic Intensive Care Unit team. The ideal candidate, preferably male, will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to critically ill patients, assisting in the management of complex clinical conditions, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and response to treatment; adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including histories, physical examinations, and progress notes.
- Emergency Response: Participate in emergency procedures and interventions as required, and assist in resuscitation efforts.
- Education: Participate in the training and education of junior medical staff, interns, and medical students.
- Research: Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the ICU setting.
- Compliance: Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Education: MBBS or equivalent medical degree; completion of internship.
- Experience: Previous experience in an ICU setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Licensure: Current medical license to practice in [Insert State/Country].
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
