About the Role: As an OT Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the operation theater and the efficiency of the OT staff.
What You'll Be Doing: - Supervise the overall functioning of the operation theater (OT) and OT staff. - Ensure OT readiness by monitoring equipment, instruments, and supplies before surgeries. - Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other staff for smooth surgical operations. - Monitor adherence to sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols in the OT. - Train, guide, and evaluate OT technicians, assistants, and support staff. - Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures, instrument usage, and OT logs. - Schedule OT activities, including elective and emergency surgeries, to optimize workflow. - Ensure proper maintenance and preventive care of OT equipment and facilities.
