Sr. Consultant/Jr. Consultant - GI Surgery

About the Role: Join KP Institute of Medical Sciences (KPIMS) as a Sr. Consultant/Jr. Consultant in GI Surgery, where you will play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes through expert surgical care.

What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate and manage patients requiring gastrointestinal surgical interventions. - Perform or assist in elective and emergency GI surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures. - Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative care of GI surgery patients. - Manage conditions such as GI cancers, liver, pancreas, and biliary tract disorders. - Interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and endoscopic findings for surgical planning. - Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, and other specialists for comprehensive care. - Ensure adherence to surgical protocols, patient safety, and infection control standards. - Maintain detailed surgical and clinical documentation.
