As an Attending Consultant/Associate Consultant in GI Surgery, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient care through expert surgical practices.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist in gastrointestinal surgical procedures including laparoscopic and open surgeries.
- Manage pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care of GI surgery patients.
- Handle elective and emergency gastrointestinal surgical cases.
- Diagnose and manage GI cancers, hepatobiliary, and colorectal conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with gastroenterologists, oncologists, and anesthesia teams.
- Monitor surgical outcomes, complications, and patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate operative notes and clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to surgical safety and quality standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Fresh MCH GI Surgery degree required.
- 1 to 5 years of demonstrated work experience in GI surgery.
- Skills in Decision Making, Attention to Detail, Patient Care, Communication, and Problem Solving are essential.
