About the Role:
Join us at KP Institute of Medical Sciences (KPIMS) as a Senior/Junior Consultant in Psychiatry, where you will make a difference in the lives of patients suffering from mental health disorders.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, and psychosis.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient psychiatric consultations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapy and medications.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, risk evaluations, and mental status examinations.
- Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
- Educate patients and families on mental health management and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical and psychiatric records.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A qualification of DM in Psychiatry.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
