Your Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage life-threatening conditions and organ failures.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary ICU teams including nurses and specialists.
- Perform and supervise critical care procedures (intubation, central lines, ventilator management).
- Develop, implement, and review patient treatment plans and care protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, patient safety, and infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding prognosis and care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medical education/training.
