Your Core Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and imaging studies.
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including medication, lifestyle changes, and interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies based on response and test results.
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
- Provide preventive care, dietary counseling, and patient education for gastrointestinal health.
- Manage chronic conditions like inflammatory bowel disease, hepatitis, and acid reflux.
- Participate in clinical research, continuing education, and publish medical findings.
