Your Core Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat eye diseases, injuries, and vision disorders.
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and evaluate patient medical histories.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and manage refractive errors.
- Conduct and interpret specialized tests such as OCT, visual fields, and slit-lamp exams.
- Perform eye surgeries including cataract, glaucoma, and laser procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic eye conditions.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care and counseling.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with optometrists and other specialists.
