About the Role:
As a Sonologist, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties and assisting in clinical decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, etc.).
- Review patient history and clinical information to guide appropriate imaging.
- Capture high-quality ultrasound images ensuring accurate anatomical visualization.
- Interpret findings and prepare clear diagnostic reports.
- Communicate results to referring physicians and assist in clinical decision-making.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment for optimal performance.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe scanning environment.
- Identify urgent or abnormal findings and escalate promptly.
