As an Ophthalmologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating eye diseases and vision disorders.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases, vision disorders, and ocular injuries.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and review patient medical histories.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as slit-lamp exams, OCT, visual field tests, and fundoscopy.
- Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and treatment plans for ocular conditions.
- Perform ophthalmic procedures like cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma treatment, and minor eye surgeries (as per expertise).
- Manage emergency eye cases including trauma, infections, and acute vision loss.
