As a Senior Resident in Urology, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient care through hands-on medical practice.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with urological conditions in OPD, IPD, and emergency settings.
- Support consultants during urological procedures such as TURP, URS, PCNL, cystoscopy, and other endourological surgeries.
- Perform minor urological procedures and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Monitor catheterized patients, manage urinary retention cases, and oversee stent care and follow-ups.
- Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests including ultrasound, uroflowmetry, urine analysis, and imaging reports.
- Participate in daily rounds, document clinical findings, and update treatment plans.
- Manage urological emergencies such as renal colic, hematuria, acute urinary retention, and obstructive uropathy.
