About the Role:
As a Senior Resident in Critical Care, you will play a pivotal role in managing critically ill patients within the ICU.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring timely interventions.
- Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, and ventilator management.
- Monitor vital parameters, interpret ABGs, and adjust treatment plans based on patient condition.
- Collaborate with intensivists, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
- Manage sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, cardiac emergencies, and other life-threatening conditions.
- Oversee ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment ensuring proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment charts, and handovers.
- Guide and supervise junior residents, interns, and ICU nursing staff.
