About the Role:
Join EMC Hospital as a Sr. Consultant Gastro Surgery, where you will leverage your expertise to improve patient outcomes in gastrointestinal surgical interventions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage patients requiring gastrointestinal surgical interventions.
- Perform complex surgeries on the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and biliary tract.
- Evaluate patients pre- and post-surgery, developing personalized surgical treatment plans.
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthetists, radiologists, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
- Monitor post-operative recovery, manage complications, and provide follow-up care.
- Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate surgical records, patient charts, and documentation of outcomes.
- Participate in clinical research, teaching, and professional development activities.
