About the Role:
Join our team at EMC Hospital as a Sr. Consultant in Oncology, where your expertise will significantly impact patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage patients with various types of cancer using medical, surgical, or radiation therapies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient condition, stage, and type of cancer.
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, and nursing staff for patient care.
- Monitor patient progress, manage side effects, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Counsel patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and supportive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment charts, and documentation of procedures.
- Participate in clinical research, trials, and academic teaching in oncology.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A DM in Medical Oncology and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
