About the Role:
Join our team at EMC Hospital as a Sr. Consultant Neurology in Batala, Punjab. This is a pivotal position where you'll contribute significantly to patient care in the field of neurology.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage patients with neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases.
- Perform neurological examinations, interpret diagnostic tests (EEG, EMG, MRI, CT), and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, monitor therapy, and adjust treatments based on patient response.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, and nursing staff.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment counseling to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
- Participate in clinical research and academic teaching.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
