About the Role:
Join EMC Hospital as a Sr. Consultant in Microbiology, where you'll take a leading role in diagnostic and clinical microbiology services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and oversee diagnostic microbiology services, including bacteriology, virology, mycology, and parasitology.
- Supervise accurate processing of microbial cultures and susceptibility tests.
- Develop and implement infection control protocols.
- Provide expert consultations to clinicians on infectious disease management.
- Conduct specialized tests such as molecular diagnostics and PCR.
- Mentor junior microbiologists and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- DNB in Microbiology
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong skills in Attention to Detail, Patient Care, Communication, and Problem Solving.
