About the Role:
As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care and ensuring a positive experience for patients at Medway JSP Hospital.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
- Educate patients and attendants about treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the medical team.
- Prepare and manage medical equipment and supplies in the ward or unit.
