About the Role: As an Infection Control Nurse, you will play a vital role in safeguarding patients and healthcare staff by implementing effective infection prevention strategies.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IPC policies across the hospital.
- Conduct surveillance of hospital-acquired infections and analyze infection trends.
- Ensure adherence to standard precautions, hand hygiene, isolation protocols, and PPE usage.
- Perform regular audits of wards, ICUs, OTs for infection control compliance.
- Educate and train healthcare staff on infection control practices.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor sterilization, disinfection, and environmental hygiene.
- Coordinate with microbiology, nursing, and quality teams for infection control activities.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A degree in Nursing (BSN required).
- 1 to 3 years of experience in infection control.
- Strong teamwork, patient care, and time management skills.
