Your Core Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiac surgeons and the surgical team during cardiac operations.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment and surgical instruments.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and hemodynamic status during cardiac procedures.
- Handle surgical instruments, sutures, and devices efficiently during operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Assist in patient positioning, preparation, and transfer in the OT.
- Document surgical procedures, instruments used, and patient-related data accurately.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and support the surgical team as required.
- Supervise and mentor junior OT staff and trainee nurses.
