About the Role:
As an Associate Consultant in Psychiatry at EMC Hospital, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and managing patients with psychiatric and behavioral disorders.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapy and medication management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Provide care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency psychiatric cases.
- Collaborate with psychologists and multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
- Offer counseling, psychoeducation, and support to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols.
