About the Role:
Join Kohli Hospital, Dhariwal as a Consultant Psychiatry to provide exceptional care to patients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders in adults, adolescents, and children.
- Provide evidence-based treatments including psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and other psychiatric interventions.
- Manage psychiatric emergencies, including risk assessments and crisis interventions.
- Supervise and mentor junior psychiatrists, residents, and mental health staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and medical specialties.
- Develop individualized care plans and monitor patient progress.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A DNB in Psychiatry and 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong attention to detail, team working abilities, communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
