About the Role:
Join Kohli Hospital as a Consultant Pulmonology and be a critical part of our healthcare team dedicated to excellence in patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage respiratory and pulmonary disorders, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and infections.
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and sleep studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacological therapy, oxygen therapy, and ventilatory support.
- Manage acute respiratory emergencies and coordinate care with critical care teams when required.
- Supervise and mentor junior pulmonologists, residents, and respiratory therapy staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment options.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Qualification: DNB Pulmonology
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Strong skills in attention to detail, patient care, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
