About the Role:
Join Kohli Hospital as a Consultant Surgical Oncology and play a crucial role in patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Evaluate and manage patients with benign and malignant tumors requiring surgical intervention.
- Perform complex oncologic surgeries, including resections, reconstructions, and minimally invasive procedures.
- Provide pre-operative assessment, post-operative care, and long-term follow-up.
- Collaborate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology teams for multidisciplinary care.
- Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and surgical staff.
- Develop and implement evidence-based surgical oncology protocols and guidelines.
- Manage surgical emergencies related to oncology cases.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and prognosis.
