About the Role:
Join Kohli Hospital, Dhariwal as a Senior Consultant in Microbiology and play a pivotal role in enhancing patient outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee clinical microbiology laboratory operations and diagnostic services.
- Interpret complex microbiological investigations including cultures, serology, and molecular tests.
- Lead and supervise junior microbiologists, laboratory technologists, and support staff.
- Guide infection prevention and control programs within the hospital.
- Provide antimicrobial stewardship support and advise on appropriate antibiotic use.
- Correlate laboratory findings with clinical data for accurate diagnosis.
- Ensure laboratory quality control, biosafety, and accreditation standards.
- Participate in hospital infection control committees and outbreak investigations.
- Conduct clinical audits, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
