Attending Consultant - Critical Care

About the Role:

Join Santosh Medical College and Hospital as an Attending Consultant in Critical Care, where your expertise can make a significant impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage critically ill patients in medical, surgical, and mixed ICUs.
• Provide advanced airway management, ventilation, and hemodynamic support.
• Lead emergency resuscitation and code blue situations.
• Coordinate care with specialists, surgeons, and anesthesiologists.
• Supervise junior doctors, residents, and ICU nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding condition and prognosis.
• Participate in clinical audits, morbidity & mortality meetings, and quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Support hospital accreditation and quality compliance requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in critical care.
• Strong time management, team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
