Consultant Pediatric Critical Care

About the Role:

Join our team as a Consultant Pediatric Critical Care specialist at Santosh Medical College and Hospital, where your expertise will lead to improved patient outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Provide advanced life support, ventilation, and hemodynamic management.
• Lead emergency resuscitation and stabilization of pediatric patients.
• Coordinate care with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, and anesthetists.
• Supervise junior doctors, residents, and PICU nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding patient condition and prognosis.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant pediatric critical care experience.
