About the Role:
Join our team as a Surgical Oncologist at Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services, where you'll play a critical role in diagnosing and treating cancer patients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and evaluate patients with suspected or confirmed cancers.
- Perform oncological surgeries, including curative, palliative, and reconstructive procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative staging and surgical planning.
- Provide comprehensive peri-operative care, including post-operative monitoring.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings for treatment planning.
- Collaborate with medical and radiation oncology, pathology, and radiology teams.
- Counsel patients and families about diagnosis, surgical options, and prognosis.
- Conduct minimally invasive surgeries as per training.
- Monitor patients post-treatment for recurrence and survivorship care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Supervise and train junior medical staff.
- Participate in academic activities and continuing medical education.
