About the Role: Join Dr Manu Raj Memorial PMC Hospital as a Consultant in Bariatric Surgery and make a significant impact in patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage patients with obesity and related metabolic disorders requiring surgical intervention.
- Perform bariatric procedures including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and revisional surgeries.
- Evaluate patients pre- and post-operatively to ensure optimal surgical outcomes and weight management.
- Manage perioperative care, nutritional counseling, and obesity-related comorbidities.
- Handle surgical emergencies and complications related to bariatric procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including endocrinology, nutrition, psychology, and anesthesia.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust post-operative care plans, and provide long-term follow-up.
- Mentor and train junior surgeons, residents, and OT staff in bariatric surgical techniques.
