About the Role:
Join Abrol Hospital as an Associate Consultant in Microbiology, where you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing infectious diseases.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage infectious diseases by analyzing clinical specimens (blood, urine, swabs, body fluids).
- Perform microbiological cultures, sensitivity testing, and pathogen identification.
- Interpret laboratory results and provide accurate reports to guide clinical management.
- Monitor and advise on antimicrobial stewardship and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with clinicians for diagnosis, treatment, and outbreak management.
- Maintain quality control, calibration, and maintenance of microbiology lab equipment.
- Supervise and mentor junior laboratory staff and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, regulatory, and ethical standards.
