About the Role:
As a Senior Resident in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of patient care at Amrita Hospital in Kochi, Kerala.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assess and manage OPD and IPD patients requiring rehabilitation services.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation plans for neurological and orthopedic cases.
- Provide pain management and electrotherapy treatments.
- Supervise physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions.
- Manage rehabilitation for stroke, spinal cord injury, and trauma patients.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Coordinate with surgeons, neurologists, and orthopedicians for comprehensive care.
- Perform functional assessments and disability evaluations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and rehabilitation documentation.
- Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Guide junior doctors, interns, and therapy staff.
