About the Role:
Join Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre as a Sr. Resident in Emergency Medicine.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assess, triage, and provide immediate medical care to patients in the emergency department.
- Manage medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies including resuscitation and stabilization.
- Perform and supervise emergency procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, suturing, and defibrillation.
- Monitor critically ill patients and coordinate transfers to ICU, OT, or specialty units.
- Guide and supervise junior residents, interns, and nursing staff during emergency care.
- Maintain accurate emergency case records, medico-legal documentation, and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate with consultants and other departments for timely patient management.
- Follow emergency protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
